Peyoti currently in Santa Caterina, Southern Brazil – 23rd December

Ok, so we are currently in Santa Caterina, Brazil after spending 5 weeks in the state of Pará. Huge thanks to all the wonderful, amazing people we met there! Some nice shows and some great spontaneous moments of madness! See photos HERE

If you have any performance/concert ideas for Peyoti for President in Brazil then you can contact us at: contact@peyoti.com or via Facebook , but take note that this is not a full band tour, and many shows are solo performances only.

Recent performances have been solo with looping, or with 1 or 2 percussionists. Other options are available, playing both P4P songs and some songs by other artists in the style of Reggae, Ska and Latin. All cool and down with the vibe of the venue.

Brazil! Brazil! Brazil! 2015-2016. Announce confirmed date in Santarem.

Peyoti will be coming to Brazil from around 7th November to early April 2016!
These will be ‘SOLO’ concerts only for the time being. We are interested in additional concert bookings both as SOLO performances & collaborations with other bands and musicians! Please contact us with proposals for concerts and/or collaborations ideas!

Hello U.S.! – hello Portland, Oregon!!

Great to have landed in Oregon, U.S. Headed to Portland finally, thanks to Willow Bacon and ‘her people’. Will be investigating playing options whilst here and meeting with various concert venue promoters and agents. Will be looking to collaborating? Unsure whether or not a concert will happen this time, but if so it will be the first time playing on U.S. soil! Many Thanks to all concerned for making this visit happen 😉

8 new Thailand dates added – on the Beach!

8 addition dates set for BEACH REPUBLIC, Koh Samui, Thailand

OK folks, we can tell you today that at least 8 new solo acoustic dates will be added to the string of live performances now taking place in Koh Samui, Thailand. The new dates will be pool side every Friday afternoon at ‘Beach Republic in the Lamai district and will be wittingly entitled, ‘Friday Fiesta’.

Dates will run from 20th February until 10th April 2015. Expect it to be busy. DJ will play before and after the shows. The gigs will start around 4.30PM and run for approx. 2 hours. See you there!

Thailand tour dates announced! March thru to April

Peyoti for President will be visiting the kingdom of Thailand playing a series of 40+ live concerts, mainly on the beautiful Island known as Koh Samui, from February 20th through to mid April. Approximately 15-20 profile concerts and another 30+ low profile concerts on the island are now confirmed. These will be mainly solo performances but various collaborations with other Thai (and non-Thai) artists already on the island are also being discussed. NEW RELEASE!! Who am I? …..EP

OFFICIALLY AVAILABLE TO BUY NOW!!

FIRST NEW STUFF SINCE 2011!!!! YES!!!!! The first release from Peyoti for President since 2011, entitled ‘ Who am I?’ is a conceptual EP recorded in Barcelona, talking about identity, or lack of it. It sees collaborations with known and unknown musicians all living in Barcelona.  We think its the most interesting and colourful of all Peyoti’s music to date. Tell us what you think??!  LISTEN

What Peyoti says… “Its been a while, since moving from London I have felt the desire to produce and release new music! I wanted to wait until I believed I had something worth-while. Who am I? (the original idea for which came in Italian, Chi Sono?), reflects the struggle for identity that I think we all have at times. I was raised not really knowing my cultural identity, until the age of 24 when I discovered my Italian heritage when I attempted to find out who my father was. And more recently, with Peyoti for President. Nothing stays the same for too long, this is a fact of life. The whole conceptual identity of ‘Peyoti for President,’ changed and I was left unsure as to what it stood for anymore. Living in Barcelona, a new life, a new city, you also loose your identity. It gets torn away slowly in little pieces. I think this is the case for all extranjeros. This struggle recently found a friend in the artwork of Professor Bad Trip, that is to say, seemed to be reflected in what I saw. We are all, plugged-in, switched-on and tuned-out, or at the very least.. tuned-into different things, complex and fucked up at times.. and then something familiar… even meaningful happens..” This EP is a dedication to the Italian artist (and also musician), Gianluca Lerici, better known as ‘Professor Bad Trip’, who’s art profoundly influenced me and as a consequence the recordings on this EP. Professor Bad Trips design can be found on the cover artwork of the EP.
